Lying on the southern Atlantic coast, in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, Agadir is a seaside resort destination. The beaches have plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars, sunbeds, and umbrellas along the shoreline. The hilltop Agadir Kasbah is the major historic attraction of the town. Interesting attractions include The Grand Mosque, Agadir Memorial Museum, Amazigh Museum, and Paradise Valley. Also, the Crocopark, a wildlife reserve, is home to Nile crocodiles and multiple plant species.
